The Trust awards a maximum of 5 small study and research grants of up to 50,000 INR for the purpose of undertaking fieldwork and for the acquisition of research materials essential to research within India.
These awards are available to citizens of India, who are scholars and professionals engaged in the study of India's art and culture.
These awards must be taken up the financial year (from April 1st to March 31st) immediately subsequent to the award.
These awards will normally be of a maximum of Rupees
Candidates are required to demonstrate their institution’s support for their application, and that they have established communication with any institution relevant to their application
At the conclusion of their award, award holders must submit a report of their work and a financial statement of their expenses, along with copies of their initial estimates. This statement must be certified by a representative of the award holder's employer or host institution or his/her academic supervisor.
