A study of the murals of Alchi monastery

Postgraduate teacher (painting and graphics) Modern School, Vasant Vihar, Delhi

This grant was to facilitate research for my MA dissertation, and was a great help. It supported my travel to Leh and Alchi as well as enabling me to photo document the monasteries of Alchi. I have subsequently published a text-book for Class XII on the history of Indian art and have presented seminar papers at the National Museum Institute on my research work, and have taught Indian art history to undergraduate students at the TVB School of Habitat Studies in New Delhi (now University School of Planning & Architecture, Guru Gobind Singh Indra Prastha University) and Chinese Art to MA students at the National Museum Institute.
